Award winning author/illustrator, Elizabeth O. Dulemba, was beamed to this planet with a pencil in her hand. Once she stopped chewing on it, she began to write and draw for children. She received her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia. After 15 years in the corporate world (mostly in child-related industries), she dove into illustrating children's books in 2001. She now has several titles available including the bilingual Paco and the Giant Chile Plant, a Moonbeam Children's Book Award Bronze Medalist, and The Prince’s Diary, named No.1 2006 Valentine’s Day Pick by Book Sense. She has written poems, articles and short stories for several magazines and anthologies and was recently awarded the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Magazine Merit Award for her December cover for Highlights Magazine. She is Illustrator Coordinator for the Southern region of the SCBWI and is a Board member of the Georgia Center for the Book. Her first picture book as both author and illustrator just came out this Fall! Soap, soap, soap ~ Jabón, jabón, jabón is a bilingual adaptation of the classic Appalachian tale. She also has an iPhone Picture Book App available called Lula's Brew.
Elizabeth enjoys sharing her passion for children’s books at schools, festivals and events and teaches "Creating Picture Books" at the John C. Campbell Folk School.
Elizabeth lives in Atlanta with her husband Stan, two big dogs, and a tiny cat who rules them all. Visit her website to learn more, see a book trailer for SOAP, and download a new coloring page every Tuesday.

Paco and the Giant Chile Plant ~ Paco y la planta de chile gigante
Paco takes the familiar "Jack and the Beanstalk" tale and gives it more than a few new twists. Told as a fractured fairy tale, our hero, Jack, is now called Paco, and the story takes place in a beautiful desert setting in the American Southwest. The story is presented as an English text with embedded Spanish in rojo. A vocabulary page is included to jump start learning in either language. Paco is available in Bilingual, All-Spanish, and All-English Hardcover and Paperback versions.

    Lula's Brew
Lula's Aunties want her to be a witch like them. But Lula hates to fly on brooms. She'd rather study cookbooks than spellbooks ... Lula dreams of being a famous chef! When her Aunties insist she attempt one last potion, Lula secretly adds her cooking flair and in true witchy fashion ends up creating a brew that bewitches the entire town ... maybe her Aunties too! This rhyming tale transcends the typical Halloween story to appeal to cooks and "foodies" throughout the year.
